Hola. I'm Alejandro Medina.

"I consider that working at Careyes Foundation has managed to improve my musical skills in a matter of practicing and being able to impart the knowledge obtained in my training as a musician with the students is quite gratifying. Since today art is less present in daily life, being able to teach with passion and seeing the results and progress of my students feels like a great personal victory."

About Me

I am the coordinator of our music school. I teach weekly choir lessons to elementary school children from 12 villages, guiding them in their musical education and providing them with opportunities to perform for local and international audiences. I am a Tenor from Colima, that began vocalist training in 2011. I was a student of Olga Sevriugova, and was part of the Vivar Choir along with the State of Colima’s Secretary of Culture Choir. In 2013, I began my preparation in the Instituto Universitario de Bellas Artes under Tenor Felipe Castellanos, during which I participated in two editions del concierto al excelencia. In 2016, I led musical directives for scenes of the Celta Teatro company. I then went on to become a Music Director in Campoverde Manzanillo directing Mamma Mía and cuentos para un dia de sol de Carlos Orona.
