Continuing our sea turtle educational series
In January, we invited children from the villages of Miguel Hidalgo Nuevo, Punta Pérula, and Emiliano Zapata to attend three more installments in this series. Before we screened A Turtle’s Tale: Sammy’s Adventures, our resident biologist Alejandro Peña talked with the students about how sea turtles are impacted by animal and human predators. All of the students from the six communities that have participated so far have loved learning about sea turtles and what they can do to help their environment!
