On February 9th, students from Agua Caliente Nueva’s primary school attended the first lecture of a new ecology series in partnership with la Estación de Biología Chamela. Led by Dr. Ramírez of UNAM, the presentation focused on conservation of local animal and plant species. In the interactive lecture, students learned about local biological endeavors, identified pictures of flora and fauna, viewed preserved specimens.
