As we work primarily with kids, fostering their education and development, we depend on the support of the mothers in our communities. Last week, members of our children’s choir from the villages of Zapata and Villa had a chance to show their appreciation for their amazing moms with performances at their schools’ Mother’s Day celebrations. The moms enjoyed lunch, music, and games (no men allowed) and were treated to two new songs that their kids learned especially for the occasion.
