It’s graduation season, and our Music School’s choirs are in high demand, with three back-to-back performances! On June 27th, our two choirs performed a selection of hymns at mass on the final night of the annual Patron Saint Festival in the village of Emiliano Zapata. The next day, our Adult Choir sang at the middle school’s commencement event, even performing one song accompanied by several members of the choir on guitar. This was a fun opportunity to show off some hidden talents and a preview of the possibilities for our Music School, as we hope to add guitar classes to our offerings as interest grows and the program evolves. Our children’s choir was then invited to perform at a preschool graduation ceremony. We’re sure there are some stunning voices among this year’s graduates of all ages and we hope to see a few in our summer choir and music classes!
