During summer vacation, we offered a two-week day camp at our Music School! This program was designed and lead by our own Maestro Pepe and included 23 elementary and middle school students who attended daily classes from 9am-2pm (free of charge, like all of our community programs). Some students traveled as much as 30 minutes to be able to attend these classes! Each morning, the children learned about music theory, rhythm, and listening, while the afternoons were dedicated to rotating classes of choir, piano, and guitar. On the last day, we invited their parents to a closing performance to see all that their children had learned, and we presented each participant with a certificate to acknowledge their participation and dedication to their musical education.
