Dale Vida a la Naturaleza Muerta

Around 40 people participated in our 14th annual Dale Vida a la Naturaleza Muerta event, which was created in 2005 by Andresa Nunes. The annual competition, which offers both children’s and adult categories, invites Careyes guests, residents, and local community members to create sculptures made entirely of things found in nature. Driftwood fishermen, mermaids composed of pastel-colored seashells, and coconut-shelled sea turtles were among the impressive and diverse entries on display. Winners were named, but participants and spectators alike marveled at the ingenuity and vision of all of the emerging artists.
