The space responds to an urgency and obligation to provide an accessible exhibition space for contemporary artists, architects, and designers.
ArteCareyes Film & Arts Festival is a film event that takes place over five days in Costa Careyes. The cultural programming of the festival consists of four sections: cinema: projection of films from young emerging directors; workshops with professionals from the film industry; art exhibitions featuring new talents of the Mexican contemporary art ; and new Mexican music performers who play live during the festivities. ArteCareyes Film & Arts Festival has established itself as a platform that brings together emerging talents of various disciplines, offering a space to exhibit and promote creative work.
Bici polo Tapatío is the first Mexican bici polo club founded in 2009 and it has organized 12 tournaments locally and internationally. They have the support of Fomento Deportivo from Guadalajara and is sponsored by Fijalajara. Team players from Bicipolo Tapatío will introduce this sport in the villages adjacent to Careyes and will help create the first Bike Polo school in Costalegre.
