How much of my donation directly supports the programs?
A general donation to the foundation goes to funding our programs, events, and staff salary. If you would like your donations to be used for a specific program, or in a specific way, please contact us, so we use your donation in the way you intended!
How does Careyes Foundation fund the programs?
Careyes Foundation is a non-profit 501(C)(3) public charity that is funded completely by donors. We are constantly accepting donations, and finding ways to work with other institutions in order to expand and better our programs.

What communities does the foundation operate in?
Our main office is located in Pueblo Careyes, however we operate in 12 rural communities: Agua Caliente Vieja, Agua Caliente Nueva, Miguel Hidalgo Viejo, Miguel Hidalgo Nuevo, Arroyo Seco, Emiliano Zapata, Francisco Villa, Chamela, San Mateo, Juan Gil Preciado, La Fortuna, and Punta Perula. We cover about 50km of the southern coast.
