Hola. I'm Lizzet Gutierrez.

"The foundation has allowed me to grow and develop my skills in a way I could have never imagined. Living in this place has allowed me to learn more about myself, which I am thankful for. Working with the amazing children of these communities has widened my own perspective, and I am glad to be making a positive impact on the communities and in the foundation."

About Me

I joined the team in November 2022 as an English teacher. I then became the Cinema & Community Program Coordinator, Communications Coordinator, and temporary Robotics Teacher. My passion for giving back to the community led me to the Foundation. My background in cinema and media has allowed me to help uplift the cinema program and expose the wonderful world of film to the local communities. Originally from Los Angeles, I graduated with a B.A. in Film and Media Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and also studied abroad in UNAM at ENAC focusing on cinematography. I have worked with various businesses managing social media accounts, which includes content creation, photography, and videography. I have also worked with independent production companies as an associate and executive producer. During my free time, I like to paint, draw, watch movies, and take walks in nature.

Interested in collaborating, donating, or learning more about the cinema program, don't hesitate to contact me!
