Preethi teaches English in the villages of San Mateo and Miguel Hidalgo Nuevo, and also teaches four different English classes to groups of adults from the local communities. In addition, she manages all of the Foundation’s social media accounts and assists with administrative work.
Preethi has a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Health and hopes to continue her studies and pursue a law degree in social equity and health care accessibility. She is originally from Acworth, Georgia, and recently graduated from the University of Georgia before she joined the Foundation team. Growing up, she spent many summers visiting her family in India and in 2015 she spent her summer living abroad in Yunguilla, Ecuador, where she improved upon her trilingual skills (English, Spanish, and Tamil).
