Baby Sea Turtle Release

When baby sea turtles hatch at our protected facility, they need to be released into the ocean. Don't miss the chance to participate in this unforgettable experience and play a small part in the recovery of these endangered species! Peak hatching season is October through December, for reservations contact Concierge at Casitas (315 108 9614, concierge@careyes.com). We ask for a small donation from guests, all donations help offset the STPCC operational costs.

Want to help sea turtles in the field and not afraid of the elements?

Join our Volunteer On-Call Turtle Team! In July and August we train volunteers to help us measure turtles and collect eggs in preparation for mass-nesting events. Please note these events are unpredictable, occur at night and in inclement weather between August and October.
