A message from Carmen Huerta, coordinator of the Children’s English Program & Computer Science Teacher.
Hello, everyone!
As we come to the end of another wonderful school year, my heart is filled with pride and gratitude. As the coordinator of the Children’s English Program and Computer Science teacher, I have had the privilege of witnessing a year of growth, dedication, and transformation in our classrooms.
Today, I’d like to share some of what we accomplished together.
The Driving Force Behind Our Success: Thank You, Teachers!
This school year would simply not have been possible without the incredible teachers of Careyes Foundation, who are the heart of this program. Thank you for your dedication, your patience, and for bringing passion and purpose to every class.
Together, we achieved something truly special: we transformed our classrooms into spaces where learning and play go hand in hand. Every lesson became an opportunity to explore, discover, and grow. Our students learned in the most meaningful way possible, guided by teachers who do far more than teach—they inspire.
Reaching More Communities Through Extracurricular Learning
Our extracurricular classes were a tremendous success. This year, we positively impacted 12 communities, overcoming geographical barriers to make learning accessible to more children.
We organized transportation between communities so that every student had the opportunity to participate and continue learning. Seeing their excitement and joy made every effort worthwhile.
Shaping Future Leaders
Our English and Computer Science classes are about much more than language skills or technology. Our mission is to encourage children to think beyond boundaries, to dream bigger, and to understand that the world is full of opportunities waiting for them.
We are helping shape compassionate, confident young people who will become the leaders of tomorrow.
The Learning Continues: Summer Camps Are Coming!
Who says learning stops when school ends?
Just as we have in previous years, we will continue supporting our students throughout the summer. Our Summer Camps will bring fun, English, and Computer Science directly to our communities, ensuring that learning remains engaging, meaningful, and full of adventure.
We’re looking forward to another summer of discovery, creativity, and unforgettable experiences.
