Máximo gonzález
Argentinian-born, Mexico City-based artist Maximo Gonzalez staged solo exhibitions and site-specific projects in the Careyes Art Space and produced interventions in the adjoining plaza which engaged with the local communities. In his site-specific installation entitled Verses in the Air, local school children created texts and poetry that were then translated to cut-out paper and hung over the plaza. Each child received a framed copy of their piece and a photograph of the artwork.
