20 Years of "Dale Vida a la Naturaleza Muerta"
Written By Careyes Foundation
This past weekend, the Careyes Foundation hosted the XX edition of a beloved local tradition: a sculpture contest created by Andresa Pinheiro Nunes, where imagination meets whatever nature has to offer. Kids and adults from both Careyes and the surrounding local communities participate every year, crafting sculptures using only organic materials and breathing life into "still life" in the most literal way.
Alongside the contest, we also host an artisan market celebrating traditional Mexican craftsmanship — a chance to support and celebrate the talent of local makers.
