A huge thank you goes out to everyone who joined us at Casa Infinito for what was truly a magical evening and a major moment for Careyes! More than 150 people turned out to celebrate our accomplishments and be part of our future. We kicked off the night with sunset cocktails and a performance by our Foundation choirs. Then, we gathered with friends and family to share a traditional Mexican dinner by candlelight.
Our host and board member Jon Congdon spoke about his pride in the Foundation's work to promote thriving local communities as part of what makes Careyes special. He recognized the impact of past donations and highlighted our hurricane relief, ecology education, and English teaching efforts. The lively auction and call to fund the needs of our diverse initiatives that followed were met with an overwhelming response! If we needed a reason to dance the night away, we couldn’t have asked for a better one.
