English classes are back in session! After weeks of training and practice, our teachers are ready to share their language skills with over 800 children in twelve local elementary schools. This year, we’re publishing Level 6 of our customized Beyond Borders curriculum, so students in second through sixth grade will receive a free copy of their grade level’s workbook to use in weekly lessons. As always, English classes will feature plenty of games, songs, and creative activities to play with language and engage students with different learning styles. At the same time, we love to see how each of our volunteers bring their own personality and interests to the classroom. Emily gets her students extra excited to sing along in English by bringing her guitar to class!
