Capacítate para el empleo
This initiative was developed in 2019 in collaboration with the Carlos Slim Foundation and their free online platform Capatítate para el empleo (train yourself for employment). This platform offers more than 240 free online in-depth courses spanning a range of career paths — technology, tourism, construction, administration, finance, agriculture, and more. In each course, students learn via a series of interactive videos, readings, written assignments, and quizzes. There are also several government-certified courses (diplomados oficiales de la SEP) and the course offerings are continually expanding.
Upon successful completion and demonstrated mastery of the content in a given course, students receive an official course certificate which aim to support the growth of their employment opportunities.
