On the morning of May 20th, 2017, we set out on our second community bike ride with the children from the elementary and middle schools in the villages of Juan Gil Preciado and Ranchitos. Earlier in the year, we partnered with the Fundación Fraterna to host mechanic workshops and gift 44 brand-new bikes to the middle school children of these villages, so we've gotten to know these communities particularly well. We traveled north to La Presa, a beautiful valley next to the ranch of a Juan Gil Preciado student's father. There we were invited to pick berries on the ranch and pet the cows grazing in the nearby field while we rested.
