Our Music School has gone virtual as we stay home to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus! Both our guitar students and our children’s and adult choirs are currently adjusting to the challenges and possibilities of rehearsing over weekly video conferences. Director Pepe is also sharing homework assignments asking students to listen and record themselves to keep their voices in shape and begin to learn new songs on their own. While participation is unfortunately limited to those with access to an internet-connected device, video rehearsals will help our choirs maintain the progress that they have made over the past two years until they are able to meet in-person again. Beyond that purpose, coming together to create music—even while staying physically apart—can really lift our spirits during these challenging times.
