Community Bike Ride with Francisco Villa and Emiliano Zapata

Bright and early community ride!

On Saturday, November 26, children from the two primary schools in the neighboring villages of Francisco Villa and Emiliano Zapata joined us for a 5-km community bike ride. Many children were so enthusiastic that they arrived with their parents and siblings before 8am! We provided tune-ups to ensure a smooth and safe ride, and loaned bikes and helmets to the children who did not have their own. With 40 children and 20 parent and family volunteers, we set off for the Boca del Rio, a part of the river that runs through their community. After resting and rehydrating, we stopped for a quick swim in the river to cool down after a long morning spent enjoying the beautiful nature that surrounds these communities!
