LORENZO LOCCI
VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER COORDINATOR
Lorenzo is managing our Vocal Training Center at Casa de la Cultura in Emiliano Zapato. He supports English classes for adults as a teacher and coordinates programs to acquire practical skills to foster the local economy and expand job opportunities for youth and adults. Driven by his commitment to community empowerment and education, he was following the Foundation and recently joined our team in mid-April 2023.
Lorenzo experienced different cultural settings and non-profit causes. Originally from Italy, he moved abroad after a B.S. in Biotechnology. In the Netherlands, he graduated with a MSc in organic agriculture, marketing, and consumer behavior, at Wageningen University. Lorenzo previously coordinated an ecotourism and sea turtle conservation project in a rural community of Guerrero. Before moving to Mexico, he organized events as part of the European Voluntary Service with BirdLife Malta, and worked as an educator in Guatemala and Costa Rica. Passionate about nature and swimming, he enjoys cooking and loves hiking, camping, and adventuring on road trips.
