MAR REYNOSO
COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR & english teacher
Mar manages the Foundation’s external communication and social media accounts, and is the creator of our audiovisual content. Mar joined the team in February 2022 as English teacher and continues to teach elementary school children in the villages of Emiliano Zapata, Francisco Villa, and Miguel Hidalgo Viejo.
Mar began studying photography at age 15, attending workshops at Hospicio Cabañas in Guadalajara. Her passion for photography, editing, and the infinite narratives that are created using this medium led her to venture into video in 2021 in the Oaxacan coast working with socio-environmental projects. She has a degree in Economics from the University of Guadalajara, as well as Epistemology in the Global South from CLACSO. In her free time she likes to discover the marine world and play bass.
