MARIANA García
Vocational Training Center Coordinator & ENGLISH TEACHER
Mariana oversees the Vocational Training Center (VTC), which focuses on supporting the development of skills and abilities for teenagers and adults in the local community. In her role, in addition to the administration of the VTC, she provides English courses, overseesthe Robotics Club, and manages practical and theoretical online workshops.
Mariana is originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, where she studied International Relations at ITESO. Her experience teaching English ranges from kids, adolescents, and adults in the past four years. She takes joy in supporting people’s educational growth and working alongside them. In the past, Mariana partnered with organizations focused on social justice and development, and also worked on academic research centered on the defense of Human Rights. She is passionate about art, writing, painting, and music, and enjoys spending time outdoors and hanging out with people.
