Teaching English in Chamela
The students in the small fishing village of Chamela are now almost two months in to their first year of English lessons, as we have recently added this community to our service area. There are only 24 students in their elementary school, so all of the 2nd through 6th graders come together in one group for their biweekly English classes.

We are excited to welcome two new volunteers to the Foundation team, Laura Savage and Zoe Carlson! Our third volunteer, Katie Alhart, joined us in 2017 and has returned to work with us for a second year.
